The Story
My work is inspired by the complexities of human emotions and how people express them. Each work depicts a different emotion through the use of color and shapes. Emotions are not something that you can see because each person expresses them in their own way. This project is the exploration of how I imagine each emotion would look and feel.

I created this series of works for my BFA Senior Exhibition Show at University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire.
POSITIVE EMOTIONS
NEGATIVE EMOTIONS
The Original Insiration
For one of my projects as a Freshman, I created a series of work that used body language, images, and color, to express a variety of emotions. I am very fascinated in the mind and how people express their emotions. Because it is something that we cannot clearly see, I thought to having a non-binary figure to represent each emotion. The density of the the color around the figure also varies from positive and negative emotions. Negative emotions tend to make one feel as if they are trapped where as the positive emotions make one feel outgoing.
