TEAM is an app concept that is designed to allow sports fans to follow their favorite teams on all levels. TEAM allows sports teams from all over to gain a better relationship with their fans and allows them to feel closer to the action. The layout and initial idea was influenced by the structure of Instagram.
Initial Idea
I wanted to create an app that could connect fans to their teams. There are different apps for social media and sports, but there is not one that truly unites the two. I developed my goals and presented my ideas to my class and professor.
Name Brainstorm
In order to come up with an app that did this, I needed to brainstorm possible names and ideas that connected to my concept. The class went around the brand ideas that each of us had and helped generate different names.
Design Brainstorm
After coming up with the name TEAM, I then created sketches and rendered designs for the logo. I chose to use a bold typeface to grasp the sport concept.
Final Product
This is the design that I came up with for the final logo, app icon, and mockup for the app.
