The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning is a department within many universities. This is a center that provides resources to professors to maximize their teaching potential. This was a group project where a group of designers worked with this client to help with their rebranding.
Initial Mark
When trying to think of a logo for the brand, our group decided to bring sketches to class. We then looked over each other's work and narrowed down which designs we thought best fit the department's goals and objectives. We then created some rendered versions of some of the ideas that we came up with.
Brand Guide
I came up with the color palette and the logo that we decided to use for all of our assets. The University's colors are navy blue and gold and they mentioned that they wanted their materials to stand out from others. After some research, looking at the different groups and organizations on campus, we felt that this color palette would be unique and represent their organization.
Teaching Academy Assets
After creating the brand guide for the organization, I was then in charge of the materials for the Teaching Academy. This was a five day event that included training and networking for the professors. My other group members were in charge of things like stickers, name tags, signs, and digital advertising.
